About Adventure Travel

In August 1976, three businessmen founded a small travel agency in Lawton/Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Hossein Moini, an immigrant from Iran, joined the company in April 1983. He attended Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, where he earned a degree in radio and television.


Hossein and his wife, Eddye Ann, purchased Adventure Travel in 1995 and have maintained its local ownership ever since. From the beginning, the company’s guiding principle has remained the same:


Take care of your employees, take care of your customers, and everything else will take care of itself.


Technology has made purchasing travel easier than ever. However, managing the details and creating an exceptional vacation can be more challenging. The internet provides an enormous amount of information, but not all of it is accurate. After more than 50 years of arranging travel, our experience helps us navigate the process and create well-planned, memorable journeys.

Cruises

Our team has been selling cruises for more than 40 years. We arrange everything from three- and four-night Caribbean cruises for first-time cruisers to extended voyages in Alaska, the Mediterranean, and destinations around the world.

Hotels

Adventure Travel has access to more than 33,000 hotels worldwide. Based on your budget, destination, and travel needs, we can help you select the right property and room category.


Room types can differ significantly. For example, an oceanfront room is not the same as an ocean-view room. Families traveling with children may benefit from larger rooms or suites.


Our agents have personally visited and toured many hotels. When we have not visited a property ourselves, we can consult trusted local contacts to help identify the best accommodations for your trip.


Car Rentals

Rental cars can be complicated, especially when choosing the right vehicle and pickup and drop-off locations. We can help you select a car that fits your itinerary, comfort preferences, and budget while arranging the most convenient rental locations.


Travel Insurance

Adventure Travel works with multiple national travel-insurance companies to help identify policies that suit each traveler’s needs.


Our experienced agents have encountered many situations in which travel insurance may—or may not—be appropriate. We do not recommend insurance automatically for every traveler. However, it may be especially valuable for travelers who:


  • Have immediate family members with serious illnesses
  • Have jobs that could require them to cancel their trip
  • Are traveling to destinations with a higher risk of interruption or cancellation
  • Have Medicare and are traveling internationally
  • Have other personal circumstances that could affect their travel plans

Our Locations

Adventure Travel has been located in Central Plaza since 1983. The mall offers a convenient, central location in the Lawton area and is only a short distance from Fort Sill.


We also operate an office on Fort Sill to serve the military community. Our office is located inside the Welcome Center in Building 4700. We provide the same full range of travel services available to our civilian customers.


In addition, we offer military-discounted tickets to various attractions, including Disney and Universal parks. 


Fort Sill Graduation Packages

Adventure Travel also offers Fort Sill graduation packages for families visiting to attend a loved one’s Basic Training or Advanced Individual Training (AIT) graduation.
